Caitlin Ostroff is a reporter for the Wall Street Journal where she uses words, numbers and code to cover the world of finance. Previously, she was a data reporter for McClatchy DC and the Miami Herald. She’s a 2018 graduate of the University of Florida, where she spent most of her time working for the independent, student-run newspaper The Alligator. In her last semester there, she helped launch Save Student Newsrooms, an advocacy campaign to educate people about challenges facing student news, such as finances and censorship. Caitlin is also a proud Hufflepuff.
